Beyond Money
Money is a resource. It’s the thing we use to exchange goods and services in the physical world. Outside of time and energy, it’s hard to argue it isn’t the most useful resource we have.
Ego is expensive
A lot of the desire for riches ties back to us wanting to impress others. We’re like peacocks trying to get laid for the first time. We’re social, relational beings, so it makes sense. But when we get beyond this in our journey, what is having an abundance for?
Being beyond money is when money doesn’t determine what you do.
Instead of seeing money as an investment, a retirement fund, or some imagined future, what if you saw it for what it actually is: a resource. From this starting point, you can ask a different question.
What do I want to exist in the world?
The abundance becomes a space for creation.
Without money, we can move ourselves. With it, we can move armies. Money is an accelerant between the world you’re in and the world you want to see.
Don’t let lack stop you. And don’t let excess stop you.
Before money: Create. Beyond money: Create faster.
